This is a one full day tour to Tarangire National Park, the home of the mighty elephants and gigantic baobabs. Tarangire National Park is well known for its large elephant herds. From the open roof of the vehicle, you will experience the seasonal swamps, savanna, and Tarangire River in search of many animals including zebra, wildebeest, buffalo, elephant, and giraffe. It’s possible that you will catch a glimpse of a lion stalking its prey or leopards watching and relaxing in the trees above.
After an extensive game drive, having experienced the various sights and sounds of the wilderness, you will leave the park and drive back to Arusha town or direct to the Airport of Arusha or Kilimanjaro.

Day 1 Tour Itinerary

You will be picked up early in the morning from your Hotel in Arusha or Moshi after breakfast and drive approximately 2 – 3 hours to Tarangire National Park. Along the way you will be passing bustling Maasai villages and the vast, open plains that have become synonymous with images of Africa. Tarangire national park where you will have a chance to see the groups of Elephants and Giraffes.
After an extensive game viewing, having experienced the various Attractions and sounds of the great wilderness, you will leave the crater and drive to back to Arusha or Moshi town or direct to the Airport of Arusha or Kilimanjaro. This marks the end of your 1 Day Tour to Tarangire National Park.
